Edge Mediations specialise in providing mediation services tailored to the parties’ unique needs

Robert obtained his law degree from the University of Sydney in 2000.

Before obtaining his law degree, Robert obtained a bachelor’s degree in Applied Science (Nuclear Medicine).

Following his studies, Robert was eager to pursue a career in which he could positively impact people’s lives. Personal injury law provided the opportunity to represent ordinary people from all walks of life in the pursuit of a fair outcome.

Robert started working as a solicitor at Carroll & O’Dea Lawyers in 2002 under the mentorship of Howard Harrison. At the beginning of his career, Robert worked in various areas of personal injury. Over time, he shifted his focus to claims involving public liability medical negligence, and institutional abuse.

In 2010, Robert was promoted to Partner and saw an opportunity to expand the firm in South West Sydney establishing a Campbelltown office.

During the latter part of his time at Carroll & O’Dea, Robert focused on institutional abuse work, representing both Plaintiffs and Defendants in this area. His proficiency in resolving claims via alternate dispute resolution led to a natural transition into a role as a mediator.

In 2024, Robert completed a mediation course through the Resolution Institute and established Edge Mediations in September of that year.

In his personal life, Robert is an active member of the NSW basketball community. He has sat on Basketball NSW disciplinary tribunals and is a current member of the Board of Bankstown Basketball Association.
